“I did not begin when I was born, nor when I was conceived. I have been growing, developing, through incalculable myriads of millenniums… All of my previous selves have their voices, echoes, promptings in me… Oh, incalculable times again shall I be born.” – Jack London
A belief that exists across many different cultures and religions, reincarnation has captivated people for thousands of years. Also, referred to as transmigration or metempsychosis, the theory of reincarnation refers to the fact that while we experience a bodily death, our consciousness, or soul, continues to live on moving onto its next existence. While some believe that this rebirth occurs only through human lives, others believe in differing existences including human, animal or even vegetable.
It is often believed that if you have been reincarnated into this life, it occurred as there is something you need to learn, accomplish or understand in this life. You could be here for the purpose of assisting others in their spiritual journeys, providing valuable knowledge and guidance. You may be here for the purposes of righting a wrong from a previous life, freeing yourself from the bad karma that you are currently carrying around with you.
While your soul may have lived many lives, these memories are not as readily available as the memory of what we did on our last birthday. Locked away in our subconscious, they present themselves in far more subtle and sometimes difficult to recognize ways such as familiar smells or sounds, or feelings of deja-vu.
Do You Believe That You Have Been Reincarnated Into This Life? Pay Attention To These 6 Signs:
#1 – It’s hard to pull the wool over your eyes.
You have experienced life a few times over, and with that experience comes a wisdom and knowledge that makes it incredibly easy to fool you. While you may not consciously recall your past lives, you have an incredibly well-developed sense of intuition. Listening to this intuition empowers you to detect lies and manipulation a mile away.
#2 – You are incredibly aware of both your emotions and the emotions of others.
Incredibly compassionate and sensitive, you are able to understand, acknowledge and accept your emotions easier than many people, and you not only recognize but genuinely feel the emotions of those that are around you. You feel drawn to those who are experiencing hurt or pain, desiring to bring them healing and care.
#3 – You experience strong, recurring feelings of Deja-Vu.
While most people experience deja-vu at one time or another in their lives, those who have been reincarnated into this world will experience this phenomenon far more often. This may be triggered by familiar sounds, smells, feelings, tastes, or sensations, bringing about waves of recollection from your past lives.
#4 – Your life has been filled with important lessons.
Throughout the course of our life, you have been presented with more opportunities to learn valuable life lessons than the average person. While other people that you encounter live their lives in a carefree and disconnected manner, living their lives on ‘auto-pilot,’ you are constantly learning, growing and evolving through life’s challenges, experiences, and adventures.
#5 – You have incredibly realistic and life-like dreams.
You don’t just dream once in awhile, instead, you experience highly vivid and detailed dreams regularly. These are so real that you often awaken only to question whether or not this dream actually happened. The truth is that these dreams are actually memories from deep within your subconscious.
#6 – You feel as though you don’t quite belong, longing to ‘go home.’
You go through life with an unexplained feeling of homesickness, even if you are currently at the place that you call ‘home’ in this life. Even as a young child you felt as though you didn’t quite ‘belong.’ This homesickness may be heightened if you are in a familiar space, or experiencing a situation that triggers memories from a past life.
